Lifecasting, or bodycasting, is the craft of molding a living body.

When done by an artist, with care and a critical eye, the result is an artwork of lasting beauty.

I started lifecasting in 1986, partly to prove I could cast 'anything.' I use the direct plaster molding technique, and most of my sculptures are cast in glass-reinforced Hydrocal plaster. I also cast in concrete and plastic resin, because no plaster can survive for long outdoors.  Other longlasting materials are available.

This site will acquaint you with my art, my methods, and my models.

You may purchase most of the work shown or arrange a commissioned piece.
